Google new change ; not provide backup for chat apps


To boost the security of users Google announced that it will no longer backup media from chat apps like Whatsapp Messenger, Instagram, Snapchat and Rwitter to Google Photos. 


The back up of media shared and received automatically stored on the user’s Google Photos account. 

This means you would not instantly find backups of pictures or videos sent to you from friends or family on WhatsApp or other numerous apps.

 Users might be wondering why Google has decided to suddenly switch this feature off.


 Will this change has actually been implemented to save internal internet resource during the health crisis that countries to grip the world.this new move is temporary, according to the company.

 The default settings of the app have been changed in order to save internet resources. This has been done as more user have sharing media via messaging apps during the lockdown and post lockdown phase.


 The new update focuses more on memories and how to re surface them on the app.
